In order to keep the monkeys from starving, in the past two days, more feeding points for the monkeys were added in the scenic area, and professional breeders fed the monkeys with corn, fruit and other foods from time to time to help the macaques survive the winter. Groups of monkeys come here every day to feed, which has become an interesting landscape in the scenic spot.
Winter is also the season for breast-feeding and mating of macaques. This year, a number of monitoring systems have been added to the scenic spot, which pay attention to the health status of monkeys by means of breeders and monitoring systems, and provide them with timely rescue and care to ensure the prosperity of macaques.
It is understood that at present, the number of wild macaques in Longgang Scenic Area has increased from more than 60 in previous years to more than 200.
