In order to implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, fully implement the three-year action plan of China Association for Science and Technology to "create science and technology in China", promote the integrated development of science, technology and economy, and help the high-quality development of non-ferrous metals industry, China Nonferrous Metals Society will hold the 13th academic annual meeting of China Nonferrous Metals Society in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province from June 25 to 27, 2021. The annual meeting is a comprehensive academic event with the widest coverage and the highest academic level in the field of nonferrous metals sponsored by China Nonferrous Metals Society, which is held every two years. This year’s annual meeting will further focus on the frontier of nonferrous metals science and technology and the major strategy of green and high-quality development, carry out comprehensive and high-level academic exchanges, highlight interdisciplinary and Industry-University-Research integration, serve the industrial economy, build a high-end academic exchange platform, and comprehensively enhance the independent innovation capability of nonferrous metals industry.
The theme of this year’s annual meeting is "Green, Low-carbon and Intelligent Development of Science, Technology and Economy Integration and Innovation". The annual meeting is expected to have more than 1,500 people. The main venue and 25 sub-venues will be set up, and relevant academicians, well-known experts, scholars and business managers at home and abroad will be invited to give special exchange reports on industry technology hotspots, transformation and upgrading, and high-quality development.
