There are both natural scenery and colorful cultural landscapes. These architectural landscapes stand quietly in the years of circulation, like silent poems, three-dimensional paintings and solidified music … During the tourism festival, Baoshan was heavily launched.

Stroll through the artistic time in the industrial building of the river of science and technology

The mother river of Baoshan, Ruozaobang, was once one of the battlefields of the Sino-Japanese War between Songhu and Shanghai. After the reform and opening up, cotton warehouses, local products warehouses and fruit warehouses were built along the river because of the convenience of water transportation. With the development and changes of the city, the old warehouse gradually withdrew from the historical stage, and the old factory building turned around beautifully.

Coming to the peninsula in 1919, retro and trendy collided in a century-old building. There were more than 30 historical and modern buildings with various architectural elements in the former "Shangmian No.8 Factory". Elements bearing the imprint of cotton textile mills, such as textile machines, coal conveyor belts, slag outlets and wooden shuttles, have been preserved. Now it has turned into a creative studio, an art exhibition space, a bookstore and a bar … attracting tourists to play and punch in.

Wisdom Bay has changed from the warehouse of the third woolen mill to an industrial tourism landmark, and the buildings with containers of various colors have become beautiful scenic lines. The China 3D Printing Culture Museum in the park has nearly 1,000 3D printed works, which is amazing. Delivered to Wisdom Bay, the starry sky elevated park and the first "Transformers Bridge"-"Wannian Ring" complement each other.

Wandering through the old streets of the ancient town to explore the secret of Jinluo Store

Jiangnan architecture

History once gave Luodian the reputation of "Golden Luodian", an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River with "three bays, nine streets and eighteen lanes". It is said that it was named after Luosheng opened a shop here to form a market, which has a history of more than 700 years. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Luodian was a cotton-producing area and was called the hometown of "Flower God". Stroll through Luodian Old Street, savor the past lives of Datong Bridge, Gengpu Bridge and Xinqiao, witness the past of the ancient town from south to north, feel the historical charm of Chengentang, Dunyutang and Luoxi Caotang, and go to Gongda Sauce Garden to pursue the red spirit of the underground party organization of the Communist Party of China in Luodian.

Move to Baoshan Temple, which presents the perfect construction of tenon and mortise structure skills, and is the only temple in China that won the "Luban Award". There are many halls and pavilions, the vertical axis layout of traditional Galand, the structure of pure wood tenons and mortises in safflower pear, Africa, the magnificent palace modeling, the patchwork of quaint buildings, the exquisite design of bucket arches, owl tails, ghost tiles and other details, all of which reflect the wisdom and exquisiteness of traditional architectural manufacturing skills in China.

Visit Baoshan Riverside and meet the story of historical discovery here.

The ancients wrote about Baoshan in their books, saying that it was beautiful. The Yangtze River was surrounded by flowers and bamboos, and beautiful trees. Every time the sun rose, colorful clouds rose. They called it "Baoshan Xiangyun". Hundreds of years have passed, the river is still vast, the river tide is still soup, but the smoke of the past has already disappeared in the clear and majestic whistle of Wusongkou International Cruise Port. The "maritime gateway", with its vast rivers and waves thousands of miles away, is integrating fashion with tradition and innovation with integrity, and has become an international cruise tourist resort in Shanghai.

Wusongpao Taiwan Province National Wetland Park, the most famous wetland park in Shanghai, is full of river scenery along the plank road of Zhenjiang River. The industrial mine site has been creatively built into a fairyland-like "Little Jiuzhaigou", and the Wusongkou lighthouse stands on the river bank extending into the sea, guiding the direction for ships coming and going.

In Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park, the Imperial Monument Pavilion tells the origin of the name of Baoshan, as well as the site of the ancient city wall of Baoshan, which was built in the 16th year of Ming Jiajing. The artistic installations in Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, which are composed of "Jie 1937" and "Song of War in Songhu", all silently tell the story of that bonfire. Stroll along the waterfront of Baoshan, feel the accumulation of history with your footsteps, and explore the context of Wusong.
