Visit a school and listen to an ideological and political lesson.
In Chengbei District, Xining City, Qinghai Province, there is a boarding middle school — — Guoluo Xining National Middle School. When the general secretary arrived in Xining for the first stop, he came here to visit teachers and classmates.

Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southeast of Qinghai Province, with an average elevation of more than 4,200 meters. The atmospheric oxygen content is only 60% of the sea level. It is easily affected by the cold current in the north and northwest, and its natural conditions are relatively harsh. In order to meet the people’s demand for high-quality educational resources, with the help of counterpart support from Shanghai, Guoluo Xining Ethnic Middle School was established in Xining.

The school was completed and put into use in July 2019, offering six grades of junior high school and senior high school, and selecting management teams and teachers for the whole country. There are 68 teachers in the school, including 7 teachers from Shanghai. In 2023, the college entrance examination undergraduate online rate exceeded 70%.

Look at the Millennium temple and protect the precious heritage

Hongjue Temple, a Gelugpa temple of Tibetan Buddhism, can be traced back to an earthen altar built here by Princess Wencheng when she entered Tibet in the 7th century. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, Hongjue Temple was given the management of the Sixth Panchen Lama. Since then, it has become the residence of Panchen Lama in Xining and the main preaching center, and it is a bridge between the central government and Tibetan Buddhism.
